KNU Delegation Team Arrives in Naypyidaw

A KNU delegation team led by Chairman General Saw Mutu Sae Poe arrived in Naypyidaw on the afternoon on October 12th 2015 ahead of the National Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) signing ceremony due to take place on Thursday.
The team included KNLA General Saw Jonny, Head of the Department of Defense Col. Saw Roger Khin, along with sixteen other KNU members.
Union Minister U Aung Min Greets KNU Chairman Gen. Saw Mutu Sae Poe in NPT
Union Peace Working Committee (UPWC) Vice-Chairman, Union Minister U Aung Min, met with KNU Chairman General Saw Mutu Sae Poe at 6pm that evening at the Horizon Lake View Hotel, which will host the NCA signing ceremony on October 15th.
KNU delegation group have informal meeting with President Thein Sein
The team held an informal meeting with President U Thein Sein and Union Ministers at 7am the following morning to discuss the fine details of the NCA signing ceremony.
In the meeting KNU Chairman Gen. Saw Mutu Sae Poe, General Secretary P’doh Saw Kwe Htoo Win, Gen. Saw Jonny (Karen National Liberation Army General Officer Commander), Col. Saw Roger Khin (HoD), Lt. Gen. Saw Isaac (Quarter Master General), P’doh Mahn Nyein Maung, and P’doh Saw Tah Doh Moo (CEC), P’doh Shwe Maung (CSC) and other leaders were present.
From the Government side, Union ministers U Aung Min, U Soe Thein, U Khin Maung Soe, U Win Tun, U Thin Zaw (representative of Pyinthu Luttaw), U Hla Maung Shwe and U Tin Maung Than (Senior Advisors to the MPC) attended.
Maj. Gen. Baung Khay, Central Executive Committee member from RCSS/SSA (Restoration Council of Shan State/Shan South Army), another signatory was also in attendance, along with Col Sai Hla RCSS General Secretary 1 and U Harn Yawnghwe (RCSS/SSA Advisor).
